Nusa Lembongan is what most people imagine Bali was thirty years ago. Clear water, few cars, a volcano across the channel. Lago faces north. The reef sits offshore. The beach below is small and warm, and you can swim before breakfast. By midday the light has moved across to the west; by six it's behind Bali. The trade wind shifts the surf in the afternoon, and the day winds down. We didn't design the day. The island did. We built the beach cafe, a sundeck, a floating pontoon bar, and a restaurant. Most of what's good about Lago is already here. The rest is what we layered on.

What is Lago in Nusa Lembongan?

Lago is a hospitality venue on Nusa Lembongan, Bali, running since 2019. It covers 3 hectares of beachfront and clifftop, with the Beach House, the Pontoon, Firm Fitness, the Sundeck, Lago Beach, the Boardwalk, and Dawn and Dusk restaurants, all operating. The Courtyard hotel and the Residences are completing 2027.

How do I get to Lago from Bali?

Lago’s helicopter service will be commencing in late 2026. So for now, it’s a fast boat from Sanur. Roughly 30 minutes across the Lombok Strait. Boats run several times daily; transfers can be arranged through the Lago management.

Is Lago open to non-guests?

Most of Lago is. Dawn and Dusk dining, the Pontoon, Firm Fitness, the Sundeck day pass, and Firm Fitness are all open to walk-ins. The Beach House is accommodation only.

Where can I eat and drink at Lago?

Three options at Lago. Dawn is the ground-floor cafe — open from early morning, ethically sourced coffee, pastries, short food menu. Dusk is upstairs: seafood, seasonal plates, and a full bar from midday through late evening, with views across the Lombok Strait. The Pontoon is a floating bar anchored over the reef with craft beers and cocktails and a tight food menu.
